Difference between Ketupat and Lontong

Difference between Lontong and Ketupat

Lontong and  Ketupat are foods made from rice cooked in leaf wrappers, often considered the same but different. Lontong is made from half-cocked rice, then the rice is interested and printed using banana leaves with an elongated shape. In contrast, Ketupat is made from raw rice and then inserted and printed using woven young coconut leaves. For the cooking process, Lontong is slightly faster than Ketupat, which needs to be cooked for hours. That is the difference between Lontong and Ketupat, which looks similar but not identical.
